The Fifth National Lecture Skills Competition for Young Teachers of Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering was a great success

The Fifth National Young Teachers' Lecture Skills Competition in Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering was successfully completed on September 10, 2024 in Qingdao. The competition was co-sponsored by the Teaching Guidance Sub-committee of Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering Programs of National Higher Education Institutions (hereinafter referred to as the “Teaching Guidance Sub-committee of Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering Programs”) and the Chinese Refrigeration Society, with the exclusive support of Qingdao Hisense Hitachi Air Conditioning Systems Ltd. and the cooperation of HVAC Magazine, the final of the competition was co-sponsored by China University of Petroleum (East China). The final was co-organized by China University of Petroleum (East China).
A total of 40 teachers from 28 colleges and universities across China applied for the competition, including 19 for basic courses and 21 for specialized courses. After two rounds of evaluation, 12 teachers entered the final round (6 for basic courses and 6 for specialized courses) to compete for the grand prize, first prize and second prize of this year's competition.

The curtain of the finals was officially opened on the morning of September 10, with the opening session first. Prof. Zhu Yingxin, Director of CECC, Prof. Zhou Peng, Vice President of China University of Petroleum (East China), Prof. Zhang Huan, Deputy Director of CECC, Prof. Li Xianting, Secretary General of CECC, Senior Engineer Wang Congfei, Deputy Secretary General of China Refrigeration Society, Mr. Liu Tao, Deputy General Manager of Qingdao Hisense Hitachi Air Conditioning Systems Company Limited, as well as more than 40 people including experts of the judging panel, participating teachers and observing teachers attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Zhou Peng, Vice Principal, Mr. Zhu Peng, and Mr. Liu Tao, Vice General Manager, Marketing of Hisense Hitachi Air Conditioning System Co. Vice President Zhou Peng, Prof. Zhu Yingxin, Deputy Secretary General Wang Congfei and General Manager Liu Tao delivered speeches respectively.

Subsequently, the final rounds of professional basic course and professional course were held respectively, the participating teachers fully demonstrated their lecturing skills and teaching innovations, and the 14 expert judges of the two groups asked questions and commented on them in turn. After the evaluation, one grand prize, two first prizes and three second prizes were finally awarded in the professional basic course group, and one grand prize, one first prize and four second prizes were awarded in the professional course group.

In the afternoon of September 10th, the experts went to Hisense Hitachi Huangdao Factory for visiting and communication. They visited Hisense Hitachi showroom, intelligent manufacturing factory and laboratory successively, understood Hisense Hitachi's layout practice of digitalization and green development, and deeply felt the digitalization, informatization, automation and intelligence of the factory's production process, as well as the complete test platform and laboratory. Afterwards, Mr. Meng Jianjun, Deputy General Manager of Hisense Hitachi Pre-Research & Technology Department, gave a detailed introduction to the experts about Hisense Hitachi's active exploration and practice in product innovation, technology development and engineering application under the title of “Exploration of Product and Technology Development in Central Air Conditioning Industry”.
