The congress brought together more than 300 urban and rural construction leaders, academicians, scholars and authoritative experts in the field of construction, while attracting more than a thousand representatives of leading construction enterprises. A number of domestic and foreign expert leaders delivered opening speeches for the conference.

The greenhouse gas quantification process of this “Zero Carbon Conference” in the holding phase met the principles of completeness, standardization, accuracy and transparency, and the organizer effectively controlled and reduced the carbon emissions of the conference through the use of environmentally friendly materials, optimizing waste management, encouraging the use of digital communication and other measures, with the remaining emissions of 209 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, which were offset by the cancellation of an equivalent amount of carbon credits that met the requirements of the relevant standards.
