Air conditioning classification: comfort air conditioning - temperature as the main object of control to meet the requirements of human comfort; precision air conditioning - temperature and relative humidity as the main object of control to meet the requirements of industrial production (constant temperature and humidity); clean (purification) air conditioning - the number of air particles as the main object of control to meet the requirements of industrial production (cleanliness). Clean (purification) air conditioning - to the number of air particles as the main object of control to meet the requirements of industrial production (cleanliness).

What is a clean room?
-A specially designed room to control the number of dust particles in the air, designed to minimize the intrusion, survival and retention of dust particles into the room, as well as the necessary control of the associated temperature, humidity and pressure. (Extracted from: ISO 14644-1)
-A limited space specially designed and constructed to provide special control of air particles, temperature and humidity, air pressure, air pressure flow patterns, air movement, vibration, noise, nuisance microorganisms, and lighting. (From: ASHRAE)
-Divided by purpose: industrial cleanroom: main control object - particles; biological cleanroom: main control object - particles, microorganisms. By airflow type: unidirectional flow cleanroom, non-unidirectional flow cleanroom, mixed flow cleanroom.

Unidirectional flow clean room: 1) airflow through the clean area of the entire cross-section; 2) cross-section of the wind speed uniformity and stability; 3) a single flow line, roughly parallel; 4) controlled airflow. Relying on the “piston-like” squeezing effect of air supply, the dirty air inside the room is rapidly discharged outside to achieve the purpose of purification. High-efficiency filter full cloth rate>80%.

Non-unidirectional flow clean room: 1) air velocity is not uniform; 2) airflow with multi-directional (reflux, vortex); 3) controlled airflow; - rely on the air supply to continuously mix and dilute the indoor air, the indoor particles are gradually excluded, until the balance is reached. -Ensure a sufficient number of air changes, reasonable airflow organization.
